On the Dell GX620 machine (USFF), I took a complete list of the hardware from windows and then set to work on the hackintosh. The only real problem I had was the graphics been stuck at 1024x768 - everything else worked. I tired Kalyway 10.5.1 and Leo4All, these both worked fine. Remember that the Vanilla Kernel will never work and the power saving did not work either. I tried to upgrade to 10.5.4 from updates and killed it.

I will look at the link you provided. I am not familiar with setting the MAC address issue. Can you give a sample of what that would be exactly and where I would enter it? I imagine it is an option when the boot screen is counting down to have it set some value.

Thank you again for the help. I hope to just buy a Mac, but want to see what the experience is like before spending the money.

I have tried Leo3Allv3 which seemed to have the drivers that most we inline for my machine. I have a couple of other versions, but which one did you use exactly? It is helpful to use exactly what you had.

The inbuilt Video card is the Intel GMA950. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=86609&st=0&p=614934&#entry614934 gives you the files you need, basically oan older driver from 10.4.x and allows all resolutions.

Audio should work out of the Box (did for me) and LAN - LAN: Onboard Broadcom NetXtreme BCM5751 -- requires AppleBCM5751Ethernet.kext & configuration of MAC address at every boot to work

Can you give more directions on how to get the video card and network card working for a GX620? There are many instructions to do the base install, but lack which drivers to install during the normal install vs after. Audio as well I guess.

Thanks.
