This throttling of your connection means for most part – you will get hit sooner rather then later and they now have brought in some new times as follows:
10am and 3pm
4pm and 9pm

The reason is in SOME area’s before – people had slow connections as a few were download / uploading 24/7. They tried the Cap (monthly limits, Letters etc) and this failed and now they are trying this. This solves nothing other then making everybody slow in fact, once you are Throttled – it lasts for 5 Hours – so get hit at 5pm and it lasts to 10pm – though get hit at 9pm and prepared to be throttled well into the night.
Now I did call up – and all they did was upgrade me to 20mbit BUT charged me for this eventually on my Bill – I do not want a faster speed – I want to use my connection. I am seriously looking at another provider to be honest.
