Medion 6 Button Profssional Mouse
As my Mighty Mouse (Wired) was having issues – I had swapped to a standard MS Wired mouse until I got around to buying one. I was in ALDI Today and spotted this mouse at the checkout. In regards to it fitting the bill:
- Price was right at £15
- Laser Mouse
- Many Buttons (Always handy)
- DPI Switch

As you can see out of the box, it has a rubber style grip on both sides with a smooth black finish on the rest. It takes two AA Batteries and has 5 Buttons – the 6th I am guessing is the DPI Button. It comes with a small CD (8cm) with the software required but as I am not using this on a Windows machine – this was of no use to me, instead I am using USB Overdrive software for the extra buttons.

The mouse has an on/off button which is very handy as it will save on batteries while not in use (such as overnight). It features a very small USB Dongle for the receiver which fits nicely into the mac keyboard.

In use it worked fine, the DPI Button allows you to change the speed of the mouse from very fast, normal to very slow which can also be good for Photoshop work. Overall good value for money and does the job just as well as any of the named brand.
