Recently at work I moved from a Desktop to a Laptop, full specification after the break. The Desktop I had was also a Dell Model but featured 1GIG Ram, Windows XP Pro, Dual Core P4 Range (they are about 3 years old) and basically the desktop ran very SLOW indeed compared to what I was used to.
