Three New PS3 Games

While I was out and about I went into HMV for some headphones as it goes and while I could not find a decent pair of headphones, I did manage to see a whole range of bargains in the PS3 Section. Some of the prices of the games were about the same I had seen elsewhere but some were so cheap it was almost silly not to buy them. I saw EyePet which included the PS3 Camera for a steal at £10, now I already own the Webcam and have no great need to buy this Eyepet thing, as it is aimed at kids. The other Bargain I saw was at another store with Socom 4 which came in at £15 and this included the Bluetooth Headset.

Medal of Honor 2010 – PC

I recall way playing the first Medal of Honor game on the pc way back in 2002 and the on-line experience back then was brilliant, even to the point of me creating a clan and joining a league. Recently they have remade the game across all platforms including PC and I even played the on-line beta via Steam to test it out. I was interested in the Single player version for now, so installed and played – here are my thoughts..

Webcam – Low Frames per Second

I was recently messing with the various webcam’s that I own which include the Creative Optia Pro to the Microsoft NX6000 and including a cheap one from ALDI. I was confused why I was only pushing out 6FPS – was there a problem with the computer? The Operating system? Was the bandwidth an issue or was it just plain madness?

sauerbraten – Free FPS Game

I came across a game on a Linux distro and thought it was great – I headed off to the website – sauerbraten and it is available for :

CTF Edition (June 17, 2008):
WindowsDownload for Windows – 292 MB
LinuxDownload for Linux – 301 MB
MacOS XDownload for MacOS X – 306 MB

Best way to describe this game – a Freeware Single/Multi Player that is a lot like Doom or Quake. There is also a Server lister and many maps & Add-ons for this from various sources.
