The point of these social networks is to allow you to have Members which share the same interest along with Video’s / Photo’s / Music plus Forums & Blogs. To give an example, let is say you run a server for a MMORPG – you could create your own Network which allows for tips, screenshots and many discussions which the users themselves can create. There is a Free version which gives you so much space and a bought version – go check it out – what have you got to loose?

I agree you can get a desktop program to do this very task – which is fine if you are near a computer but as this operates from anywhere – its a good alternative.
