I thought I would take a break from Tech for this one post and go through some changes of late, some good, some bad and as always “Everything changes” as they say. The Blog is going well, I am looking forward to my first cheque from Google Adsense (which only took me three years to hit the required minimum of £60) – money for nothing right? I do hate adverts and I hate having them on here but they are required evil to keep the site going – Sorry…
Every time Java Updates, you end of with a list of old versions littering the Add/Remove group. One solution is to remove them all and install the latest – hardly the best idea right? Along come an open source program that will do this all for you – call JavaRa – this program can search for all the old version and get rid of them plus it also updates Java for you along with removing various Sun programs such as the download manager.
I had some inspiration that I should go on a purge of all the web sites that I personally think I should stop using, I slept on it overnight to make sure it was not a flash in the pan idea that I would regret later and once my mind was made up, I went on a purge of all the site I had registered and used.
USTREAM TV
The first casualty was Ustream.TV – this was of no use to me and I had my fill so armed with this I made sure I deleted the Video’s I had recorded, removed the show and finally the user accounts, I Mirrored this on my IRC Client, no more shall I be on there for whatever reason, be it watching shows or broadcasting.
